Třebíč, Zelená Hora (Žďár nad Sázavou), Litomyšl – 120 km southeast – UNESCO heritage spots

Český Kras/Křivoklát – 30-50 km southwest – rocks, castle, river, natural parks, local pubs

Krkonoše mountains – 130 km northeast – alpine nature area with nice walks – trekking, cross country skiing, downhill, bikes

Beskydy/Javorníky/Bílé Karpaty – 350 km east – amazing mountains, not high – very local, once you go there, must go many times

Jeseniky – 250 km east go through Polish Klodzko – lost mountains in far Moravia, but charming, a little mysterious
